View from the balcony
The apartment is in Rua das Amendoeiras (Street of the Almond Trees), a quiet location adjoining the old part of Ferragudo, near the church square. It has wonderful sea and beach views over to the Marina of Portimao, as well as to the Ferragudo castle and cliffs. You can have your breakfast on the balcony and watch the yachts come in to the Marina.
Rua das Amendoeiras. Praia do Angrinha
From the apartment it is a very short walk to Praia do Angrinha ( the fishermen's beach) or to Praia Grande, a long sandy beach ideal for water sports, sunbathing or walking. Both beaches are beautiful, with a backdrop of low cliffs, picturesque coves and golden sand. The village, with its shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is a short walk through the old narrow cobbled streets of this lovely, very Portuguese, village.
