Faro Airport is approximately 45 minutes by car. Taxi about 40 euros. A car is not essential, as all daily needs can be met in the village but is recommended for exploring further afield.

Welcome to Ferragudo

Local activities - walking, fishing, cycling, surfing, windsurfing, paragliding, sailing, beach volley ball, golf, water skiing, canoeing. Small children's play area on Praia Grande (swings, slide etc.)

A Pirate Boat leaves from Portimao Marina daily (can be watched from the balcony). It explores the beaches inaccessible on foot and can be arranged in the village, as can other excursions.

Ferragudo Village

Within a short drive; a very pleasant (no, really) new shopping complex with cinemas and a variety of restaurants, a waterpark, dolphinarium.
